BigBrother is the web design brand of Xantec Solutions Sdn Bhd, company no. 201101022112 (950251-X). We are the data user for personal data collected through this website and through the WhatsApp and email paths named on Contact Us.

This notice is written for Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). It covers bigbrother.my and the contact channels we publish. It does not cover other sites we may link to, or WhatsApp, email, or hosting platforms once your message has left our pages.
What We Collect
When you send an enquiry, we typically receive your name, company, email, phone or WhatsApp number, a website URL if you have one, and what you write about the job. Career notes and partner intros sent to the same channels are treated the same way: we read them to reply.
If you email or WhatsApp us directly, we also see whatever you choose to attach or paste: files, screenshots, extra numbers. Do not send payment card numbers in chat. We will not ask for them there.
We do not buy mailing lists. We do not run an account login on this website. We do not ask for IC numbers on this site.
How Enquiries Reach Us
The contact form on this site does not store a copy on our web server. It opens WhatsApp with the fields you typed, using the number we publish for studio chat. When you tap send in WhatsApp, Meta Platforms processes that chat under WhatsApp’s own terms. The same is true if you tap the floating WhatsApp button.
You can also write to sales@bigbrother.my. That message is handled in our email. Studio hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.
By sending an enquiry through those paths, you consent to us using the details to reply, to assess whether we are the right studio, and — if we work together — to run the project. You can withdraw consent by telling us in writing. Work already started may still need the records the law requires us to keep.
Website Tools
The free website audit asks for a public URL. Our server fetches that page so the tool can read titles, headings, and similar public HTML. Treat a pasted URL as a technical check, not as a client file, unless you also send an enquiry. Do not paste addresses that are not yours to test.
The website ROI calculator runs in your browser from numbers you type. Those figures are not sent to us unless you copy them into a WhatsApp or email yourself.
Cookies and Third Parties
This website is built to run without third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or font and script CDNs. We do not set cookies on bigbrother.my to track you across other sites, and we do not sell personal data.
The server or host that serves this site may keep ordinary technical logs — for example IP address, browser, time, and the page requested — to operate and secure the site. We do not use those logs to build marketing profiles.
If you follow a WhatsApp, email, or Maps link, that product’s own privacy policy applies to what happens next. We are not those companies.
Why We Use It and How Long
We use personal data to reply to enquiries, to quote and deliver web design and related work, to invoice, to keep tax and company records, and to defend a legal claim if one arises. We do not use your enquiry to send a newsletter you did not ask for.
Enquiry notes that do not become a project are kept only as long as we need them to finish the conversation and to show what we were asked. Project files, invoices, and contracts are kept for as long as Malaysian tax and company rules require, then removed or archived in the ordinary course.
Your Rights
Subject to the PDPA, you may ask to access personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, and to withdraw consent for us to keep using it for marketing. This site does not run a marketing list. A request to stop project-related contact should say so clearly — we still need records the law requires.
Write to sales@bigbrother.my with “Personal Data” in the subject. Name the email or WhatsApp number we should look up. We may need to verify it is you. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in Malaysia if you believe we have not met the Act.
We do not intend this site for children. Do not send us personal data about a person under 18 unless you are that person’s parent or guardian and the data is needed for a genuine project, such as a school site.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices or the law change. The date at the top is the last revision. The current version always lives on this Privacy Policy page.
